Careers program
Our school’s Careers Program provides comprehensive support to help students prepare for life beyond school. Through personalised guidance, résumé development, career planning, and assistance with job or tertiary applications, the program works in partnership with families, staff, employers, and community agencies to ensure every student is equipped for future pathways.
Future Links Expo
Each year Kingsgrove High School hosts the Future Links Expo providing students with an opportunity to speak with representatives from a range of institutions to assist with their career planning.
Careers Adviser Role
Careers Advisers assist students with writing résumés, exploring career pathways, and searching and applying for jobs or further study options. They provide guidance tailored to each student’s strengths, interests, and goals.
The Careers Adviser works not only with students but also with parents, teachers, employers, community agencies, and training providers to ensure the best support for our students. Their role is to help every student leave school equipped and confident—whether they pursue employment, training, or tertiary study.
