Inspire – High potential and gifted education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs.

Sporting Pathways

We are committed to supporting active lifestyles and sporting excellence. Students regularly participate in:

Gala days and Combined High Schools knockout competitions
Zone, regional and state carnivals for individual and team sports These events enable our students to trial and compete in sports at regional, state and national levels, fostering discipline, commitment and collaboration.

An inclusive and aspirational learning environment that supports high potential and gifted students to achieve excellence in both intellectual and social-emotional development. Through rigorous, differentiated learning and authentic opportunities for collaboration and leadership, students are encouraged to become resilient, reflective learners who contribute positively to their school community and beyond.

Learning Focus

The class is designed around two key domains of development:

Intellectual Domain – Focuses on students’ natural abilities in processing, reasoning and transferring learning. This includes strengths in verbal and numerical thinking, logic, spatial awareness, abstract thinking, problem solving, synthesis and evaluation, and effective use of working and long-term memory.
Social-Emotional Domain – Develops students’ abilities to understand themselves and interact effectively with others. This includes skills such as empathy, perceptiveness, social awareness, tact, influence, persuasion, communication, leadership and collaboration.
