Student wins Mocktail Award

One of our star students from the Year 12 2018 cohort, Nicholas M,  entered his Year 12 Multimedia Major Project into the JMC Martini Film Awards 2019 run by JMC Academy in Ultimo.

Nicholas won the Best Mocktail Award with his animation, Space Escape.  This award was part of an outreach program run by JMC where high school students were invited to submit their short films. Besides the accolades and winning a personalised award, Nicholas also received 2 vouchers for JB Hi-Fi and a free workshop experience at JMC.

Thanks to Nicholas we are purchasing a portable green screen with our voucher and our Year 11 Multimedia students will be attending a free workshop in Term 4. Students will take part in a live television production and film set workshop.

So proud of Nicholas for his fantastic achievement and we are grateful that he has shared his success with us.
