Uniform
Our school uniform promotes pride, belonging, and a strong sense of community. It also supports student safety and identification.
Wearing the full school uniform also helps students understand the importance of dressing appropriately for the workplace -an essential life skill.
In addition, consistent adherence to the uniform policy enhances the school’s image in the wider community, increasing the value of the credentials students earn here.
It is essential that all students wear the correct school uniform every day.
Expectations of students
Students must wear the full school uniform, correctly and neatly, at all times, including travel to and from school. Only black, fully enclosed leather shoes with a leather tongue are permitted, in line with safety requirements. Non-approved items such as hoodies, spray jackets, and pullovers are not allowed and will result in a uniform infraction.
Full school uniform is required in all classes, on excursions, when representing the school, and during travel. The full sports uniform must be worn for PDHPE and sport.
Students wearing incorrect shoes may be excluded from practical lessons. The school crest must always be visible.
Out of uniform pass
A student who is unable to wear some part of the school uniform should bring a note from home explaining the reason, and take the note to one of the Deputy Principals before 8:45 am to receive an Out of Uniform Pass.
