On the evening of Tuesday 27 May 2019, Sarah from Year 11 was awarded the prestigious Young Citizenship Award as part of an initiative of ZONTA Sydney West.
Sarah was invited to speak and partake in a dinner at Bankstown Sports Club in which she met fellow award recipients from other schools and was thanked by ZONTA for her enormous contribution to the community at such a young age. Sarah presented her speech which detailed her extensive volunteering endeavours outside of school as well as achievements at Kingsgrove High School. She was accompanied by her Year Advisers, Ms Deep and Mr Flaviano and Girls Adviser, Mrs Hillier.
Sarah represented the school in an exceptional manner and we are all very proud of her. Congratulations, Sarah!
