The recently elected Prefect body has embarked on a promising journey. The School Captains, Roger W and Jowina C, were formally inaugurated during the Year 12 Graduation night last term, while the rest of the Prefect body was officially inducted at the Prefect Induction Ceremony held on November 23.
At this significant ceremony, our students were warmly embraced as School Leaders, and they were presented with their Blazers, Ties, Badges, and Certificates. Parents and members of the Year 11 cohort were also integral participants in this official celebration.
The Prefect body have already shown themselves to be a cohesive and reliable group. They are becoming accustomed to their new roles. The Captains and Vice Captains did a stellar job as the MCs at the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony and continued to show their skills as part of Orientation Day. The school looks forward to the events the Prefect body will host and be involved in 2024.
I would like to congratulate the entire School Prefect body on their achievement of becoming School Prefects and look forward to seeing where they will lead the school from here.
