This year's Kingsgrove Business Challenge showed that bigger can be better.
During the end of Term 3, 80 students from Years 9 to 11 signed up to engage in collaborative learning activities whilst creating a simulated business, promoting a product range and clamouring to win the KBC Trophy.
Students quickly warmed to the fast paced learning environment by developing teamwork skills, learning how visual merchandising assists a business and promoting their product to parents and friends at our Presentation Evening on the Thursday night where over 60 community members attended, as well as students.
As in any competitive endeavour, there can only be one winner and whilst the student feedback was overwhelmingly positive with students having learnt new skills and made new friends, the KBC trophy was won by 'Choco Block', a business selling chocolate products to a mass market, ably led by Anna Y.
Congratulations to all the participants on a wonderful effort and many thanks to judges, support staff and coordinators.
