International Womens Day at Kingsgrove

On Friday 6^th March Kingsgrove High School celebrated International Women’s Day.

Students celebrated by pledging their support to celebrate women's achievement, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality. The theme this year to promote an equal world for all #EachforEqual.

Students raise almost $200 from the sale of cupcakes and merchandise on the day with all the money raise going to The Girls Refuge.

The Girls Refuge is located in Sydney’s inner west and each year cares for over 200 girls and young women either at the refuge or in the community.
