2020 Prefect Body Farewell Message

logo

On behalf of Year 12, the Student Prefect Body of 2020 would like to take the opportunity to recognise, thank, and appreciate all the valuable skills, knowledge, and ongoing support the school community has provided us during the past 6 year at Kingsgrove High School. As the graduation for Year 12 students is quickly approaching, leaving us with less than 3 weeks left of school, the Year 12s are coming to the realisation that our time at Kingsgrove High School is nearly over. As our time draws near, we reminisce and reflect on the memories created at KHS, that has moulded each and every one of us to become the mature young adults we are today.

Although 2020 was a challenging year, as Prefects, we managed to cope and continue to work together and participate in all opportunities we were given as leaders and proudly represent KHS in a variety of ways. These moments have helped us to become resilient individuals. We have had so much fun diligently working together to achieve goals whilst developing skills and attributes that we will take with us into our future. We wish to congratulate the newly elected Prefect Body of 2021 and hope all the best as role models and representatives of Kingsgrove High School.

To our Year Advisors, Ms Deep and Mr Flavia no and Prefect Co-Ordinator, Ms Ferguson, thank you. Words cannot describe how much you have helped not only us, but the whole of Year 12. Thank you for your hard work, encouragement  and keeping us together  and being our role models  for the past 6 years and guiding us to the right path in the future. To our teachers, thank you for all your constant support throughout the years and for committing hours of your own time and constantly challenging  us to strive to do our best.

Finally, to our fellow Year 12 students, it has been a long and difficult journey, let's not give up now. As we dive into our future, we will meet many fish in the sea called life. Some will be friendly and others may try to bite us. There will be times when we feel as if we are drowning, but don't give up. Pour all your positivity and energy into every moment of your life and you will soon have a pool of great memories and achievements.  Congratulations for making it  this far, we wish you all the best for your HSC exams and whatever it is you choose to do in life.
